"T'was brillig, and the slithy toves
Did gyre and gimble in the wabe.
All mimsy were the borough groves
And the maimewraiths outgrabe.
Beware the Jabberwok my son,
The jaws that bite, the claws that catch.
Beware the Jub Jub Bird and shun
The furmious Bandersnatch.
He took the Vorpal sword in hand,
Long time the manxome foe he sought.
So he rested by the Tum Tum tree,
And stood a while in thought.
And as, in uffish thought he stood,
The Jabberwok, with eyes of flame,
Came whiffling through the tolgy wood,
And burbled as it came.
One, two! One, two! And through and through,
The Vorpal blade went snicker-snack.
He left it dead, and with it's head,
He went gallumphing back.
And hast thou slain the Jabberwok?
Come into my arms my beamish boy!
Oh fraptulous day! Calou! Caley!
He chortled in his joy.
T'was brillig, and the slithy toves
Did gyre and gimble in the wabe.
All mimsy were the borough groves
And the maimewraiths outgrabe."
